TraumaSFX™ Crashed-Up Glass
Price range: $14.99 through $27.99
TraumaSFX™ Crashed-Up Glass is a specialized form of plastic resin that looks, feels, sounds, and breaks apart exactly like real glass on impact. It’s harmless to use on skin and objects when directly placed and secured by adhesive type products or inserted into molded platforms and prosthetics made from silicone, PVA, wax, latex, gelatin, etc.
Crash-Up Glass comes in a random variety of irregular shaped fragments and shards. These broken pieces look like the real thing and can be used in a variety of situations to safely simulate shattered or smashed glass. It’s safe to use for any situation that calls for this kind of casualty effect.

TraumaSFX™ Crashed-Up Glass is so realistic that, when placed side by side with actual glass, you can barely tell the difference. The lightweight urethane material looks and breaks like the real thing, and is used by major film and television production companies to custom simulate window panes, glass tables, vehicle, and aircraft glass that will break apart or shatter on impact.
Crashed-Up Glass can be easily hand-broken down into smaller pieces and shapes and used in a variety of moulage simulations, such as imbedded glass into skin to simulate a gashed entry wound from a vehicle or aircraft crash. Smaller shards and pieces can be attached to skin by using Topstick Double-Sided Adhesive Tape or “It Stays” Roll-On Body Adhesive, and secured at the base with a bit of TraumaSFX™ Silicone Sculpting Gel, Graftobian Modeling Wax, Graftobian Blood Paste or Graftobian Clear Liquid Latex painted at the base and air-dried to anchor it in place.
TraumaSFX™ Crashed-Up Glass is waterproof so you can use with a variety of liquid or dry SFX products, such as various kinds of theatrical blood and dirt effects. You can also anchor shards into premade wound prosthetics or incorporate them into a variety of wax, silicone, PVA, prosthetic transfers, or latex injury renderings too. The glass can be colored with sprays and paint-on products such as Graftobian RMG Rubber Mask Grease paints, TraumaSFX™ Trauma Simulation Paint Box Palette, or TraumaSFX™ Color Makeup Spray.
NOTE: Crashed-Up Glass is a prop item and only intended for theatrical or moulage makeup application. Broken pieces, especially small pointed shards can cause harm, damage, and injury if they are used intentionally towards that end. Use Crash-Up Glass entirely at your own risk, TraumaSFX™ Moulage is not responsible for the buyer’s or end user’s use of this product, whether intentional or unintentional use or abuse. Keep away from children and pets.
