TraumaSFX™ Silicone Sculpting Gel is a skin-safe medical grade platinum silicone rubber paste used to make instant life-like makeup special effects appliances. This simple two-part silicone system scoops out of the jar with a completely drip-free firm texture that is super easy to work with. It air cures into a soft and flexible solid prosthetic appliance piece that looks, moves, and behaves realistically like skin.

Silicone Sculpting Gel creates a soft, paste-like moldable medium when both parts are mixed together. It’s easy to freehand sculpt on a non-porous surface, model directly on skin, or placed in a mold to create ultra-realistic looking 3-D skin injury effects. Once formed in place it sets up into amazing life-like wound effects, such as cuts, bullet wounds, blisters, swellings, scars, even small body parts or any kind of injury simulation you desire within minutes.

TraumaSFX™ Silicone Sculpting Gel is non-toxic and without the messy residual excess in working with liquid silicones and their dripping containers. You can target just the right amount of mixed product you need for your project without wasting material.

When modeled and air cured directly onto skin it becomes an instant, self-adhering stay-put appliance without the need for additional adhesives. It’s secure and long-wearing without lifting or shifting until removed by hand. All cured pieces can be saved, cleaned, and reused indefinitely too.

Silicone Sculpting Gel can be used in any indoor/outdoor environment with minimal tools and clean up. The two parts of medical grade A and B platinum silicone is mixed together in equal amounts by weight or volume with a firm tool, such as a Single Blade Stainless Steel Spatula, to create a thick textured gel to craft with, and which air cures (catalyzes) into a soft and believable skin-like result.

Once thoroughly mixed on a silicone safe non-porous surface, such as the Stainless Steel Pro Mixing Palette for a full minute, then it’s ready to apply on skin. Form and shape it into all kinds of 3-D casualty simulation wounds or disfiguring effects for ultra-realistic looking results. They become self-adhering durable appliances when cured on skin that bend, flex, and behave like real wounds and disfigurements with stay-put wear upon full cure.

Silicone Sculpting Gel can also be sculpted and cured on a palette surface as a completed piece to apply to skin, or placed into silicone safe molds for quick casting of re-usable prosthetic appliances. Sculpting Gel can also be used as a thin coat adhesive to securely attach silicone appliances to skin too.

TraumaSFX™ Silicone Sculpt Gel is so versatile, and allows you to work it in small quantities to build up your creation into the desired results. Once it’s cured, you can add more mixed gel onto the cured portions to create even more dramatic effects or build out larger areas, as it laminates permanently and seamlessly to itself!

Appliances made with Sculpt Gel can be finished however desired, such as using makeup colors, such as the TraumaSFX™ Color Makeup Spray, TraumaSFX™ Trauma Simulation Paint Box Palette or Graftobian Pro/FX Rubber Mask Grease paints. Add the finishing touches such as dirt and blood effects for a high fidelity injury simulation that delivers ultra-high definition results!

AVOID storing near any heat or extreme cold source, as these temperatures can degrade material ability to catalyze properly and/or render it unusable.

Keep lids tightly closed after decanting material to avoid jar contents extended contact with air. Keep mixed product out of hair, eyelashes, beard, and brows as it encapsulates firmly and can cause discomfort in pulling when removed from hair. It is recommended to shave thick hair areas prior to an application to avoid discomfort in removal.
