Graftobian Blood Paste is a very thick, firm-textured theatrical blood that holds a stiff shape and stays in place with a dull sheen look. It’s deep red, dense consistency is heavier textured than blood gels, and perfectly imitates real coagulating blood.
It’s easily moveable to trowel, smear, or soft mold it into an injury simulation that will not run or drip once in place.

Graftobian Blood Paste is a non-sugar based formula that applies very thickly in building three-dimensional effects. The texture creates a rigid structuring which holds firmly and strong enough to hold small impalements in place, such as TraumaSFX™ Crashed-Up Glass. It’s dense consistency and “sticky” quality holds well to skin or prosthetic appliances with a congealed scabby look.
It won’t dry out, and retains the realistic, semi-matte clotted look for cuts, abrasions, gashes, and other kinds of open wound simulations that require coagulated aged blood effects.
Create fine scratches, road rash or deeper puncture and laceration wounds for fast and easy effects. Blood Paste has a great texture that can be used thick or thinned down with water. It can be applied in lumpy or bumpy clots, or thinned to slightly stringy. It adds great texture and dimension to wound creations or creating bits of bloody spatter looks.
Use it as an edge or seam blending medium on prosthetics that are going to be portrayed under flowing blood. Blood Paste is ideal to use as bloody “fingerprints” or blood tracks that stay in place for more startling effects.
Scoop Blood Paste with metal spatula or craft type stick and apply to wound effect as desired. Load some into a black stipple sponge, and lightly “scrape” it along the surface of skin for an easy abrasion or road rash look.
Create a dirty scabbing look by lightly dusting the top of a blood paste application with cosmetic dirt powder. Dust a bit of Graftobian FX Blood Powder over it, and spray it with a bit of water to create a bloody discharge/ lymph fluid type of oozing effect.
Graftobian Blood Paste is non-toxic and safe to use on actors, role players, and human patient simulators. It does not contain any corn syrup so it’s completely safe for outdoor use, and will not attract insects or animals. Blood Paste washes easily off skin with cleanser or soap and water.
NOTE: Pre-testing is recommended, as product may leave a permanent stain on some surfaces or clothing if left on for an extended period of time. Avoid using directly in eyes, and ears. Keep lid tightly closed and out of reach of children and pets.
