Graftobian Colored Liquid Latex is a premium quality multi-purpose liquid rubber material that is cosmetic grade approved by the FDA for skin use with excellent tactile results.
It’s highly-pigmented colors also have the highest elastic tensile strength compared to other brands of cosmetic grade liquid latex products.
This versatile, low-ammonia liquid rubber medium is designed to safely use on skin, and air cures (dries) into a solid piece. It can be used free-hand by brushing it directly onto skin, or poured in a shallow flat mold to make appliances.
Moulage makeup artists love it’s versatility, and it’s ideal to use for a variety of wound effects, including peeling and burnt skin, blisters, cuts, torn flesh, scarring, wrinkled skin effects, etc.

Graftobian Colored Liquid Latex can be applied directly to skin to create all kinds of injury effects, and once cured it is waterproof, rub-proof and sweat-proof. It’s natural suppleness allows for ease of movement and comfort in long wear. Cured latex applications and prosthetics bend and flex naturally with skin and joint articulation, and when properly cured will stay firmly in place until lifted off and removed from skin.
The colors can be mixed together to form other custom colors or skin tones. It can be thinned with water for customized textured results. The colors can also be thinned down by adding in a desired amount of Graftobian Clear Liquid Latex for the desired results.
It can be dabbed, brushed, or poured as needed in application using disposable brushes, sponges, cotton balls, tongue depressors, etc. Once cured, powder it with Graftobian Translucent Pro Setting Powder to remove remaining tackiness on the surface.
Colored Liquid Latex can be layered up (dried between layers) to create a built-up injury dimension and finished out with makeup texturing or blood effects for the desired result. Use Graftobian RMG Rubber Mask Grease makeup to surface seal and/or add additional color effects for the finished look.
The Light Flesh and Dark Brown colors can be custom blended to create different skin tones, or to create realistic looking appliances and 3-D open skin wound effects. Red is great to use for all kinds of bloody looks and detailed blood effects. Black is ideal for charred, burnt up flesh looks, and White mixed with cotton can be sculpted into realistic-looking broken bones. These colors are great to mix with Graftobian Special FX Powders to create dirty looking texture results too.
Always shake the bottle well before using to ensure liquid ingredients are well blended. Keep bottle neck and cap clean and tightly closed (airtight) between pours to prevent cap “locking” onto bottle top. It also prevents excessive exposure to air that will reduce shelf life and prevent unwanted curing in the bottle.
Use a makeup remover and tissues to help remove latex from skin, by lifting a corner of the latex application first and gently peel it using the remover.
Decanting latex from original container into smaller ones allows working in smaller amounts, especially when custom blending colors, and minimizes air exposure to the original container.
CAUTION: Graftobian Colored Liquid Latex is FDA approved safe for skin use, however it contains a low amount of ammonia as a liquid stabilizer ingredient. Therefore, it is strongly suggested to avoid prolonged direct breathing of the vapors around an open container. Wear a protective vapor mask if you think you may become affected or irritated by the vapors.
WARNING: Keep Colored Liquid Latex out of hair, eyelashes, beard, and brows as it encapsulates firmly and can cause discomfort in pulling when removed from hair. It is recommended to shave thick hair areas prior to an application to avoid discomfort in removal.
Avoid allowing Colored Liquid Latex to come in contact with clothing, carpet, drapes, or any cloth-based surface as it will permanently adhere to porous fibers and surfaces and become non-removable. Always wear a protective smock or drape to protect your clothing as you work with liquid latex.
Avoid inhaling the vapors. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid using near eyes, nose, mouth and ears. Keep away from heat sources to avoid vulcanizing Liquid Latex, rendering it unusable. Keep it from freezing and extreme cold to avoid spoilage and rendering it unusable.
LATEX SENSITIVITY: A very small percentage of the population is sensitive or allergic to latex ingredients, including any pre-made latex prosthetics. It is strongly recommended that a patch test be performed first to determine skin sensitivity for safety. If redness or a rash develops during or after patch testing discontinue use. Individuals who are known to be latex allergic or suspected of being latex allergic should avoid coming in contact with this product.
