TraumaSFX™ Liquid Powder Shine Eliminator is a pre-makeup/skin prep barrier cream used as primer and anti-shine all in one product. It instantly absorbs excess surface oil and produces a smooth, invisible ultra-matte finish to skin. It’s a must for all skin types that tend towards oily, sweaty, or shiny break-through during makeup wear.
It can be worn alone or under any kind of makeup for a smoother makeup application and finish. It’s also the perfect mattifying cream for prosthetic appliances such as silicone-based, gelatin-based, or prosthetic transfers to knock off surface shine and without changing the texture or color of the appliance.
TraumaSFX™ Liquid Powder Shine Eliminator is simply the king of anti-shine products! This water-based, oil free formula is a top favorite among professional makeup and moulage artists because it dries down instantly, and bonds with skin and prosthetic appliances with an invisible veil to eliminate even the harshest shine on contact, and without detection!
To use: squeeze out a bit of Liquid Powder onto a makeup palette. Next, dampen a cosmetic sponge with water and take up a small amount to thinly apply the cream. Use an overlapping stippling motion on shine-prone areas like the nose, face, T-zone, and especially bald head skin for the smoothest results. Allow to dry and repeat process if needed, especially in very oily or perspiring areas.
The liquid powder absorbs and dries on the skin within minutes, to combat sweat, excess topical oils, or other moisture issues. It also minimizes the appearance of large pores. It’s an ideal skin prep to apply on oily skins before a prosthetic appliance application too.
Liquid Powder Shine Eliminator won’t budge, degrade, or disintegrate, and provides greater durability and longer matte wear, especially for oily or perspiring skins. It also greatly reduces the need for powder maintenance, and can even be used as a spot “blotting” product on top of makeup too. It can also be worn alone as a quick and fast-drying bare skin mattifying agent. It won’t create product build-up, so it can be re-applied during wear as needed.
It works great over other water-based skin preparations for dual lock-down matte finish on skin. Apply the cream sparingly as a prep finish and allow to dry thoroughly before applying any makeup or prosthetic appliance. To knock out any appliance surface shine apply it as needed to the surface with a brush or cosmetic sponge to work it in to knock out any shine. Allow it to dry down before proceeding to coloring or finishing products. Can also apply a finishing layer of Graftobian Silica Blotting and Finishing Powder over it with the Graftobian #6 Fan Brush to further lock in the matte finish.
