The Wooden Handle Palette Knife is a spatula made of high-quality polished steel with a solid brass collar ferrule set in a hand polished hardwood handle. It features a forged nickel-plated steel blade with an offset tapered design that has been specially tempered and ground by hand to provide the perfect amount of pressure and consistent flexibility for precise mixing, blending and scraping needs.
The hardwood handle makes it easier to put strength into the mixing and blending for optimal results. The offset thin blade design allows for both pressure and a range of flexibility in the blade during the mixing and blending process. Liquids, powders, semi-solids, and creams can be softened up or mixed together to blended thoroughly and efficiently against flat, non-porous surfaces made of stainless steel, glass, laminate, even a vinyl mat with ease and speed. It’s great to use for troweling purposes or simply scraping mixtures off any mixing palette.
When finished the Palette Knife l is fast to wipe down quickly with a wet tissue or paper towel, even a wet cosmetic sponge! It’s easy to thoroughly clean and sanitize with 99% alcohol, alcohol-based Graftobian Pro Brush Cleaner or Graftobian Makeup Sanitizing Spray which quickly dries in seconds. It’s then disinfected and ready to use again, or stores easily in any makeup kit or bag.
