Translucent means it contains NO color, so it works with makeup applications on all skin tones. It functions as an important blotting and mattifying agent that is essential for setting and stabilizing all types of cream makeup applications for durable wear.

Graftobian Translucent Pro Setting powder an FDA ingredient approved oil and shine absorbing powder in a talc-free formula that delivers long-wearing lightweight matte coverage on any makeup color application. It imparts a smooth and completely matte finish that will not discolor or degrade the colors it is applied on.
It can be used over bare skin, especially oily skin as a soft skin sealing and oil blotting preparation. It’s perfect to use over any type and color of makeup, especially Graftobian RMG Rubber Mask Grease and other higher pigmented theatrical creme colors to blot away excess oil residue and shine while providing longer-lasting smudge resistant results.
It helps keeps color from shifting, shining, and smearing in wear for a natural looking “in skin” look without degrading color intensity. It also removes any sticky surface textures or tackiness from other moulage or makeup special effects products, including latex, silicone, PVA, acrylic adhesive-based appliances and other shiny/tacky materials.
Translucent Pro Setting Powder stabilizes a makeup color application without adding unwanted texture or a caked-on appearance. It’s also very important to use between color lay-ups so that you preserve the color intensity of each color application layer. It smoothes and soft seals appliance surfaces and helps to inhibit moisture and oil buildup for better extended wear between any needed touch-ups.
Pros love to use this powder mixed with a bit of Graftobian Pro Adhesive to make a form of a firm acrylic paste that can be used in a variety of ways. It’s also great to use to lightly dust over a TraumaSFX™ Bruise Powder application to help it appear more like an “under the skin” contusion.
Translucent Powder belongs in every moulage makeup kit to ensure color durability in wear. It’s perfect to use for powdering molded appliances as a mold release agent, and works nicely as a temporary blotting and mattifying powder for prosthetics application. It can even be used as a thickener or extender ingredient added into other makeup products.
