Graftobian Liquid Pain and Sorrow Glycerin
$6.29
Graftobian Liquid Pain and Sorrow Glycerin is a versatile product used for a variety of needs and makeup special effects such as simulating beads of perspiration, crying tears, and wound simulation “oozing” effects. It can also be used as a pre-mixing agent for dry pigments and powders to create pastes for suspension in a water-based liquid medium.
Mix it with cosmetic dirt powders to make greasy, oily, or muddy looking effects. It easily thins down any water based makeup for a semi-flat or dewey finish, or as a thinning agent for non-silicone cream-type makeup products, such as rubber mask grease too.

Graftobian Liquid Pain and Sorrow Glycerin is an important makeup/moulage kit staple because it has so many important uses. It can be applied with dropper for the trailing tears effect or mixed with water in a spray bottle for perspiration application. It also retains that moist look, like real sweat or tears, for an extended period of time. It has longer stability in wear and won’t evaporate away like plain water can. It’s non-toxic formula mixes easily with other water-based and powder products to be used anywhere on the face and body.
It mixes well with Graftobian Special FX Powder colors to create a dirty or grimy smear effect. It’s also great to use with Graftobian FX Blood Powder to create a variety of drips, blobs, or smears of a fresh-looking blood bleed. It works well to add a sheen finish on a latex-based appliance application, and as a water-based lubricant when working to smooth down modeling waxes too.
To create a trailing tear effect simply place a drop Liquid Pain and Sorrow Glycerin below the inner corner of the eye, being careful not to get it in the eye. To use for a beaded sweat effect, simply apply it directly with a stipple sponge or cotton swab using a patting or stippling motion to leave the “beads of sweat” look. Or mix 1/2 oz. of it with 1 oz. distilled water, or a ratio of 1 part glycerin to 2 parts water and shake together thoroughly in a spray bottle for creating beads of sweat.
Mix it half and half with water in a spray bottle to use as a soothing agent on skin after removing prosthetic appliances and adhesives. It provides a refreshing and much needed moisturizing hydration after heavy theatrical makeup or prosthetic appliance wear.
2 oz. bottle.
Ingredients: glycerin, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin.
