It’s easy to clean off any makeup residue remaining on the blade or in the holes with a cotton swab, either dry or moistened with makeup remover, alcohol, or sanitizing spray to disinfect the blade. For the best results in fine point sharpening, put pencils in a freezer for 10 minutes before sharpening.
